Celebrating 20 years of his classic album ‘Gotta Get Thru This’, global pop icon Daniel Bedingfield is announced to complete the line-up for Saturday 6th July at the Haslemere Fringe.

Kiwi born and South London raised Daniel Bedingfield is a multi-platinum award-winning singer, songwriter and record producer who became one of the most beloved pop artists of his generation.

His debut album and Grammy nominated single, ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ became an instant international hit. As well as helping to push garage into the mainstream, Daniel spawned numerous hit singles, including the iconic pop ballad ‘If You’re Not the One’ and iconic songs ‘Never Gonna Leave Your Side’, ‘Nothing Hurts like Love’ and ‘James Dean’.

In 2004, Daniel won a BRIT Award for Best British Male Artist and released a second album, “Second First Impression” which reached number 8 in the UK. Shortly after his career was put on hold when he almost lost his life in a car accident, but he continued to write songs for other artists, including Pixie Lott and X Factor winner, Ben Haenow.

Since moving to LA and travelling the world the last few years, Daniel has been a judge on The X Factor New Zealand, performed with Fred Again in NYC and has been working on new music.

Fringe Festival Coordinator, Paul Ashton says, “From heart-wrenching ballads to the infectious dancefloor grooves Daniel’s musical journey has spanned over two decades, delivering countless hits that continue to resonate with fans across generations… He last went on tour back in 2005 and has only announced a handful of live shows for 2024, so we’re super excited that he’s agreed to join us at the Fringe.”

With headliners including multimillion-selling band Blue, legendary 1980s bands T’Pau and Haircut 100, and rising star Callum Beattie already announced, the Haslemere Fringe is shaping up to be one of the South of England’s events of the Summer!
